Our Co-ed U4 Program is for boys and girls born in 2022. We are trying to break out U6, U5, and U4 ages separately, however, if we do not get enough children, we will group them with the U5 group. We do not allow playing down in age but may consider playing up one age bracket upon the parent's request. Age brackets for Kuna PAL Soccer are based off of the US Soccer Association's age/season matrix. Note: this is the last season we will be going by birth year. Starting Fall 2026 we will group kids by school year.

Our program is designed to teach these children team sport fundamentals, basic soccer skills and sportsmanship.

All games are played on Saturday's at Arbor Ridge Park in Kuna (near Hubbard and Linder). There will NOT be any practice for U4. Saturday's will include a focused drill ahead of a game against another U4 team. This age requires significant parent involvement to be successful! Plan on being on the field with your kid as much as possible, help the coach with the drill, gather balls as they are kicked, and general encouragement to these kids as they learn the basics of soccer, and for most, their first team sport!

Our teams are led by parent volunteer coaches. KPAL's Tots Coordinator or Commissioner will provide coaches with a pre-planned skills outline for each each week that includes instructions and on-site guidance. This is a great opportunity to get involved with your kiddo, no experience needed!

If you are interested in coaching, please email soccer@kunapal.org before registering your child. All volunteer coaches are rewarded with a free registration for the child they coach. Both Coaches and assistant coaching count towards your family's KPAL volunteer requirement. KPAL requires all families to help by volunteering 5 hours or pay an opt-out fee. If you opt to volunteer, our Volunteer Coordinator will be in touch. Volunteer roles include coaching/assisting, field set up, sponsorships and other seasonal help.

Sportsmanship is a cornerstone of our program and is strictly enforced for both parents and children.
